In order to give everyone an even better chance of getting a seat in this seasons finals, we have added a "semi-final" tournament to the league structure for Tuesday and Thursday leagues only. Each league will have it's own semi-final tournament, which will be held on that leagues regular night one week before the Championship Tournament.
Semi-Final Structure
The Semi-Final Tournament wil be played in a "shootout" format. A shootout is where there are (approximately) the same number of players at each table and your goal is to Win Your Table (like a Sit-n-Go). So for example, if 40 people show up to play at your Semi-Finals, you could have 5 tables of 8. The winner of each of these tables (5 total winners) will then move on to the Championship Tournament.
Who Is Eligible To play In The Semi-Final Tournament?
In order to participate in the Semi-Final Tournament, a player must meet ALL of the following qualifications:
- You must be a participant in either the Tuesday or Thursday Leagues and have attended at least 50% of the tournaments for that league
- Your membership must be up to date
- You cannot already have a seat in the final event for that league night.
