1. Is Riverside Rounders really free? What's the catch?
Yes, we're really free and there is no catch! In fact, we can't charge our players to play poker because that would violate the states gambling laws. Of course that means there is no gambling allowed of any kind in the club. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, professional environment where people who enjoy poker as much as we do can meet, mingle and improve their game. top
It is not illegal to play poker for prizes, but it is illegal to pay to play poker for prizes. Gambling is defined as putting soemthing at risk in order to play a game of chance for a prize. VIP Memberships, are completely optional. In accordance with Sweepstakes Rules, you can register to play for free by following the "Free to Play" instructions as set forth in our Terms of Use. We cannot stress enough that Riverside Rounders is NOT a gambling facility. Anyone caught violating this policy will be immediately asked to leave the club - no exceptions. top
3. If it's free and there's no gambling - how can you give out prizes?
Riverside Rounders is sponsored by donations from vendors in the poker community, through our advertisers and from VIP Memberships. Their generosity enables us to provide prizes for our leagues. We realize that in able to create a competitive atmosphere, it is necessary to give the players something to play for. As we grow, so will our prize pool.top
4. Why am I required to register?
We require that all players register so we can keep our track of all players. Players who do not have access to a computer can register at the club. Walk-ins are always welcome. However, we cannot always guarantee that there will be available seating at any given time for walk-ins.top

6. I mailed in my free registration card, how long does it take to get activated to play?
Unfortunately, the free mail in process does take a little time. There are certain steps that we must follow to ensure that we are in compliance with Pennsylvania Sweepstakes Law. This is probably the biggest benefit of being a VIP Member. By subscribing to use our automated online system, you can easily register for any event at any time. top
